Comprehensive Care Centers provide outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment in 23 counties throughout western North Carolina. Some Comprehensive Care Centers may offer additional services such as 24-hour behavioral health urgent care and facility-based crisis units, as well as services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Comprehensive Care Centers are operated by local behavioral health care providers. Each center offers walk-in services, including same-day appointments during regular business hours.
You may also receive a clinical assessment in order to determine your individual needs and services; this includes support such as medication management and individual/group therapy.
