En los \u00faltimos 20 a\u00f1os, m\u00e1s de 16.500 habitantes de Carolina del Norte perdieron la vida por sobredosis no intencionada de opioides. COVID-19 y las medidas de control de la pandemia asociadas exacerbaron el riesgo de sobredosis de opioides con un aumento de 28% en muertes por sobredosis de opioides y un aumento de 24% en visitas al departamento de emergencias (ED) relacionadas con sobredosis de opioides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A trav\u00e9s del Plan de Prevenci\u00f3n y Abuso de Opioides, Vaya Health pretende devolver a nuestras comunidades a la trayectoria descendente alcanzada antes de la pandemia.
