Life experiences, perceptions of the world around us and personal coping skills help determine if medication is needed to help an individual manage in everyday circumstances. Attending this training will add to your knowledge of best practices, side effects, and additional ways to help reduce and manage stress. Participants learn about specific medications and particular concerns for the older adult as well.

Hosted by the Yadkin County Public Library in partnership with the Vaya Health Geriatric & Adult Mental Health Specialty Team. All Vaya Health trainings are free and accredited through the NC Division of Health Service Regulation who awards 1 contact hour for each hour of training.
