You are invited to FIRSTwnc’s First 20 Years Celebration! We are thrilled to be celebrating two decades of supporting families, young children, and people with disabilities in Western North Carolina to live their best lives. On Saturday, June 3 from 11:30am – 1:30pm, we will come together as a community to raise awareness and support for FIRSTwnc’s ongoing efforts to train parents, provide mental health support to young children and families, and support individuals with disabilities.
Over the last 20 years, FIRSTwnc has made a significant impact in the lives of many individuals and families, and we are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate their achievements. We have an exciting celebration planned including spotlighting FIRSTwnc’s work over the years and highlighting businesses in our area that are owned by a person with I/DD. We also want to raise awareness and funds for FIRSTwnc’s programs and services, especially Abilities FIRST, our microenterprise coaching program.
