Commonly referred to as dementia, neurocognitive disorders can affect the way people perceive and engage with the world around them. This course looks at various classifications of neurocognitive disorders (NCDs), Delirium and common changes associated with each type. Tips for caregiving are provided.

Hosted by the Alexander County Library at Stony Point in partnership with the Vaya Health Geriatric & Adult Mental Health Specialty Team. All Vaya Health trainings are free and accredited through the NC Division of Health Service Regulation who awards 1 contact hour for each hour of training
