WNC Thrive
Como parte de la recuperación tras el huracán Helene, WNC Thrive amplía los recursos para niños, jóvenes y familias afectados por la tormenta. El programa ayuda a los jóvenes a recuperarse, reconectar y prosperar a través de actividades seguras, de apoyo y atractivas, todo ello sin coste alguno para las familias.
WNC Thrive works with multiple organizations to offer after-school, weekend, and summer camp programs to children and families recovering from Hurricane Helene. All activities are free for eligible participants living in one of the 22 hurricane-affected counties Vaya serves.

Who can participate?
All children and families who live in hurricane-affected counties Vaya serves can take part in WNC Thrive programs and activities (see county list below). You do not need to be a Vaya member to be eligible for the program.
What is the cost to participate?
The programs and activities offered through WNC Thrive are free. There is no cost for participants.
How do I register my child or family for a program?
To register for a program, click the link in the program summary below and follow the instructions on the organization website.
We live in an affected county but the program my child/family is interested in is in a different county. Can we participate?
Yes, as long as you live in an affected county and can secure transportation to the program, your child/family may participate.

I am an adult in an affected county, but I do not have children. Can I participate in one of the programs?
No, WNC Thrive programs are not open to adults with no children.
