Save a Life Day–Henderson County

Save a Life Day is an awareness event dedicated to educating communities about preventing overdose deaths and responding to emergencies. The day focuses on providing information about opioid overdose prevention, teaching people how to recognize the signs of an overdose, and promoting the use of naloxone (Narcan), a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Through training sessions, community outreach, and the distribution of life-saving resources, Save a Life Day empowers individuals to take action and help protect the health and well-being of those around them.
