Join in for a Back to School Bash and Resource fair for Avery County students. There will be school supplies, food, community resources and school resources for all attendees.
This will be a Medicaid resource event hosted by ACTS of Henderson Soup kitchen. There will be resources for community member and information about Medicaid services.
This one-day event is a collaboration between community partners to provide free services and school supplies to individuals experiencing homelessness. In addition to school supplies, there will be showers, haircuts, laundry services, and wellness bags available.
If you are a student, or the family of a student in Polk County, come join us at Polk Middle School for back to school resources, including free backpacks, school supplies, and community resources.
