Need help in a crisis?
Are you or is someone you know experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis? The good news is that there are several ways to get crisis help.

How are you feeling?
All health starts with mental health. Take a free online screening to see if you or someone you care about should connect with a mental health professional.
Talk to a trained professional any time, day or night. Call Vaya Health’s toll-free, 24/7 Behavioral Health Crisis Line at 1-800-849-6127 if you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis.
Get more information or help with regular appointments. Call our Member and Recipient Service Line at 1-800-962-9003 (7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday–Saturday) if you have questions about Vaya or what services may be available to you.
If you have a medical or life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to a hospital emergency department immediately. For individuals who are hearing-impaired, dial 711 to reach NC Relay.
Every day, we help people seeking care for the first time. We help people returning to treatment and those calling on behalf of a loved one. We work closely with health care providers to promote quality services that are available when you need them.
Crisis assistance is available to all callers, 24 hours a day. Our Member and Recipient Services professionals can also help with appointments for routine care, answer your questions about Vaya, and share information about services that may be available to you. Residents of our region who do not have health insurance may be eligible for care.
