This is a free in-person event at Macon County Public Library, facilitated by the Vaya Health’s, Health Education and Aging Resource Team (HEART). Contact Hours are provided through NC Department of Health and Human Services.
This course provides a foundational knowledge about recognizing and responding to stress. This foundation develops awareness of the difference between acute and chronic stress, defines compassion fatigue, teaches recognition and management of stress triggers, and how to identify and practice self-care routines.
