ADCNC 5th Annual Anne Doolen Visionary Awards Luncheon

The Alcohol/Drug Council of North Carolina is excited to honor special individuals and to celebrate their incredible work for our communities during the 5th Annual Anne Doolen Visionary Awards Luncheon on September 15th from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

The Anne Doolen Visionary Award is named after Anne Doolan (1948-2018) who began her professional work in the addictions field in 1981 as a part-time worker in the Domestic Violence Project in Reading, PA. During this time, she began to see the effects of substance use disorder on families and individuals. Anne Doolen positively impacted the Substance Use Disorder continuum of care in North Carolina, and she touched the lives of thousands with effective leadership, compassion, and encouragement. This award is given to an individual that exemplifies the rich legacy of Anne Doolan.
