Homestead Recovery Block Party

On Saturday, September 30, 2023 Homestead will host their first Recovery Community Block Party! This event will be an opportunity to connect with the community, offer education on recovery support services, raise awareness, and combat the stigma of substance use and mental health. There will be food trucks, music, activities for families and children, entertainment, speakers, vendors and a yard sale with the proceeds supporting the event and Homestead programming.
Most importantly this day is planned to be a day to show love, support, and experience connection. They have learned through working with peers and traveling the road of recovery that the opposite of addiction is connection, and that we each play a role in creating a community where recovery can happen.
