Resilience Film Screening

The Center for Trauma Resilient Communities, in partnership with the HART Collaborative, invites members of the Henderson County community to join our WNC-TRC Community Lunch & Launch event on November 17th from 11 am to 2 pm at Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock, NC.
This community event will officially launch the Western North Carolina Trauma Resilient Communities Project (WNC-TRC Project) in Henderson County.
The WNC-TRC Project is an initiative to embed and embody the science of trauma resilience with both individuals and organizations in Western NC. With the generous support of Dogwood Health Trust for its first year of implementation, the WNC-TRC Project will work with existing resilience collaboratives and partners in three counties – Henderson, Polk, and Transylvania – to enhance their resilience efforts through additional training, organizational capacity building and consultation, and implementation support.
Please join us on November 17th as we learn more about the science of resilience, celebrate the Henderson County agencies who have engaged as Project leaders, and take our first steps in creating a trauma resilient Western North Carolina. The event will include a viewing of the documentary “Resilience”.
