Our Human Rights Committee (HRC) is responsible for reviewing complaints about violations of member rights, including privacy concerns. Most individuals serving on this committee either receive Vaya Health-managed services or are a family member of someone who receives services. The committee reviews potential rights violations and monitors trends in the use of restrictive interventions, abuse, neglect and exploitation, deaths and medication errors. The committee reports to our Board of Directors and our Quality Improvement Committee. The HRC meets at least quarterly, with meetings listed on our Calendar of Events. If you are interested in serving on the HRC, complete the online membership application or call 1-800-893-6246 and ask to speak with a Human Rights Committee liaison.
