Larry Hill

Larry Hill is a leader in driving strategic financial initiatives and fostering operational excellence in health care organizations. As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Vaya Health, Hill oversees all accounting and finance operations, for both Medicaid and non-Medicaid funded programs. His responsibilities span finance audit activities, claims payment processing, finance risk management, health care financial analytics, financial reporting, accountability, and all general accounting facets including, planning and budget, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting.

Before joining Vaya, Hill served in various capacities at Mission Health, starting as a senior accountant. In his final role, Vice President of Finance, he stepped in and served as acting Chief Financial Officer for regional Mission hospitals and demonstrated his acumen in fiscal operations, central corporate accounting, reporting, reimbursement, budgeting, and financial planning. He was a change agent in implementing a rolling forecasting process, replacing the traditional annual budget process.

Throughout his career, Hill has consistently delivered exceptional results, providing fiscal leadership and contributing to the financial well-being of the organizations he served. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a master’s degree in health sciences from Western Carolina University. His contributions extend to the community, having served as a board member for various health care organizations throughout his career. He has also authored articles for leading health care management publications.
